what are your thoughts on Danzig?

I love his first 3 albums.
and his work with the misfits also rules.

"Walk Among Us" and "Static Age" by the misfists, the samhain catalog in general and the first four danzig records are stone fucking classics in my book. I still rock some misfits every now and then and I keep planning on upgrading my danzig records from tape to cds.

90-92, danzig ruled my world. he is a totally chooch, now and then, but I love em. rock on you weird fucking midget!

i had the danzig record that included "mother". it was alright. misfits? haven't given em much of a chance. i was listening to wreckz n' effect back in those days...

misfits are awesome (not new misfits...what is that?)
samhain is o.k. ---kinda comical. reminds me of reading Thrasher when i was li'l.
the first danzing record is classic. after that? meh.
he's a SERIOUS chooch. seriously, who thinks it's cool to name your album: "Thrall: Demonsweat Live" or even "lucifuge". that's some d and d shit, glen.

yeah man...i totally rocked Danzig's "How The God Kill" last night, I forgot how solid that album is.

I only like Mother the song.

I think all the danzig records are good up when they start going techno (I think it conicides w/ the departure of john christ and eeire von), totally sold hard rock. danzig has a pretty good voice, for being a complete doorknob.

I saw the "mother" video the other night and I was rocking. that video is absurd.

the danzig longform video, which I have never seen, is reputed to be spinal tap-esque in its hilarity.

I'm in the minority that I think I like the first one the least out of the first three....A friend at work has informed me that Danzig 777: I Luciferi and Danzig 6:66: Satan's Child (I think that's what it's called) made him feel as embarrassed for an artist as he ever has.
