Get ready to eat a Komen-sized bag of shit, TED.

Income Equality talk "too political"

“We’ve had it backward for the last 30 years,” [multimillionaire Seattle venture capitalist Nick Hanauer] said. “Rich businesspeople like me don’t create jobs. Rather they are a consequence of an ecosystemic feedback loop animated by middle-class consumers, and when they thrive, businesses grow and hire, and owners profit. That’s why taxing the rich to pay for investments that benefit all is a great deal for both the middle class and the rich."

This is so disappointing.

I thought presentations like the one Hanauer gave are what TED is all about.

Thank god TED isn't doing that talk and other elitist conversations. Why would the rich want to be taxed unless they think they're so superior to the rest of us?! It's like when Houdini would offer people to punch him in the gut as hard as they could. Who got the last laugh Houdini, you fucking shitbird! Oh, I can weasel my way out of a goddamn deathtrap, fuck you simpleton bitches! Burn in hell, motherfucker!

the TED "brand" has always turned me off in a lot of ways difficult to articulate. some gripes collected in what's wrong with ted. for one: "they collectively depict a world where all the smartest people yearn to become management consultants"
