I was getting so much repetition on Rockford Mules Radio, I needed to add some more bands outside the recommendations Pandora was making. Which had the unfortunate effect of almost eliminating any Rockford Mules from Rockford Mules Radio.
Eventually, all of my stations have Neil Young in there somewhere.

The Joy Division station is making me incredibly happy this morning (which is maybe the opposite effect the music was intended to have). Currently it's playing an Echo & the Bunnymen song I've never heard before but is awesome.

Forty-five minutes later and there has been no chaff. I haven't listened to Pandora in a couple of years because I just remembered it being frustrating. Guess I just needed to pick the right station (for me).
It's maybe a little heavy on the Interpol, though. So far it's played more Interpol than Joy Division. No biggie, I like Interpol.

Pandora is totally doing right by my 'misfits radio' station.
|

I've been using Pandora for comedy but after awhile the repetition of the same tracks over and over has become too much.
|
|
|
I've somehow stumbled into a decent mix. Bob Marley radio with an addition of Flatt & Scruggs. I've had to thumbs down some serious tevs like Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson to get it listenable. Basically it's playing Bob, Ziggy, Peter Tosh, Lee Perry and a healthy fucking dose of Waylon, Merle, Cash, Willie, Hank Sr, George Jones and scads of Flatt & Scruggs and Doc Watson. Every now and again they play Sublime, which is the lowest it sinks.
