Last night I had a dream that a super mangy, falling apart cat wanted me to pet it. And I was disgusted because it was so nasty...but I loved it because it was a CAT. I was soooooooo conflicted.
DREAMS.
I wonder what it meant.

Ela, thank you for the response. I have been intrigued with the weirdness of dreams and why we have them. that is all. I'm not Sylvia brown or Oprah or that Gary Spivey character.

last night i dreamt there was a party/gathering going on
and all these flocks of geese and other birds were taking off and flying overhead in one direction
but then came flying back over us chased by a boat and a crazy hovercraft/helicopter that were flying in the air
and then the boat spun out of control and all these people started falling off of it and hitting the ground
now i am afraid to fly home on monday cuz i rarely remember my dreams -
let alone am able to make anything of them -
and that shit is pretty clear

This morning I dreamt my cat saw a mouse out the window. He has a 'MAUW'-type sounding meow, but in my dream he suddenly added an 'S' to the end. 'MAUWS!' 'MAUWS!' 'MAUWS!'
Creeped me right the fuck out of my sleep.

I had a dream our cat "Doug" could talk. When I asked him "why it took him so long to let us know he could?" He response was in a high pitched voice "I don't know what to say"....
I would have thought a cat's explanation of that would be "well, truthfully you're just not that interesting."

Had a dream the other night I was dining with my family and my 6 year old nephew let a few "f-bombs" fly. Everyone at the table was aghast. Perhaps it was a premonition?

I just woke up from a strange dream in which I was at a secret Nirvana show, and they were playing Korn and Limp Bizkit covers. It was pretty disappointing.

Last night I dreamt that this same cat lost half his tail. It was just dangling there for awhile, so he tried to re-attach it, but then it came completely off and wiggled around on its own for a bit right after it fell off. So gross and disturbing and scary because I didn't know if I was supposed to take him to the cat ER to get it sewn back on, or if leaving it was okay.

this thread feels like the perfect venue to share a dream that i had the other night. in my dream, i was sitting in a booth behind a soundboard. michael anthony was there, and we were having a very heartfelt conversation. he treated me like an equal, and recommended some good places to eat. he looked good, like he had really been taking care of his self.

I'm trying to decide which dream I've had this week is more effed up: the one in which I was pregnant or the one where Manny had gay sex and thought I wouldn't care. Who's good at dream analysis?
I just hope they're not premonitions.
in true dream science fashion, i do believe that this means manny is going to get pregnant, and you will have gay sex, which come to find out, you won't care about. don't get me wrong though, i'm no scientist.
yeah, manny TOTALLY doesn't seem like someone who would proposition another man 4 sex. Nope.

visited the sky mall last night. drove to airport that had planes, gyrocopters, zeppelins and what not. from there, we soared into the heavens to the floating sky mall that had ports and shit to land in. as expected, there were too many people there, too many lines, over priced items you have no need for. place was massive and it had a lot of escalators, flat and inclined ones. i got lost and was looking for a way back home. then i woke up.
Woke up from a totally bizarre dream last night.
I was with my good friends and bandmates from Thunderbolt Pagoda, we had a show at Famous Dave's in some other city, we had driven the black van there.
My dream started after the show, unfortunately, so I couldn't see the horrified looks on the rib-sucking blues-desiring crowd. After the show we could get food to go.. they were playing Zydeco, and you had to wait in line. The line cooks were all wet with greasy sweat, deep-frying tubs of horrible food. They presented me with some sort of chicken sandwich and french fries. The rest of the band had already received their food and I assumed were waiting outside. I went outside and the van was gone. I dialed up Savage Clone and asked where they were. He was already home, I got very angry because I was in some strange city with a chicken sandwich and nothing else. He said they "forgot" me. I was yelling, wondering how they can "forget" me when there were only four people to begin with, then the phone cut out and I woke up.
True dream tale. Crazy.

Sounds like you guys need to talk.

I've had mostly anxiety dreams and nightmares (drinking thin viscosity super glue, people chasing me with guns and needles and knifes, people breaking into my sleeping quarters, eerie presences, one re-occurring dream featuring this really fucked up looking kid that stands in the hallway and stares at me... Jebus! so creepy.) for a good part of the last two years of my life, but recently had a hilarious dream that Banjo (the cat) was doing karaoke and it was the funniest thing. That was refreshing.
My lady told me that I was laughing hysterically in my sleep.
Oh, we talk all the time. Blah blah blah.
Mostly it's making fun of other bands.
banjo doing karaoke sounds great!
maybe quebert would be down too

Last night I was in Moscow attending a rock show, and my rented car got towed. Not a good situation to be in.
-Earlier in the evening, I had been reading a bunch of articles and message board posts about neo-Nazis in and other such white nationalists in the Russian pagan metal scene. Left me feeling pretty yucky, especially a story about some of those types poast a video of the beheadings of two 'blacks' (i.e., immigrants from Dagestan and Tajikistan).
-Then I went to the Kitty Kat Club, and managed a parking spot almost right in front. I remember wondering if it was past 10 yet, when I already knew it was.
So that's it, I guess; usually my dreams are not such concrete reflections of recent events in my life, but it seems like they have been moreso lately.

'posting' a video, DAMN, I have to go back and proofread when I change a sentence. Sorry.

California Dreamin'
I left my mother and grandparents in Duluth in a dream last night. It was snowing terribly, but I just got on the freeway and started driving. And the lake had an ancient city at the bottom of it.

ever have a dream in a dream? last nights dream was borderline terrifying. i almost felt trapped in. i awoke from a dream in my dream and then i found myself in my bedroom with friends and brother surrounding me, asking if i was okay or feeling better. i was like uh yea, just waking up? they then showed me a clip of myself a few hours before doing hilarious things on mushrooms that it garnered media attention. my phone starts ringing and the caller id only says " FOX ". i was like uh, wtf?
the problem is that i become super aware and conscious while i am dreaming that it feels like i am awake.
i hope it was fox mulder calling you in your dream
