from the facebuek page>
"The Unsettled Foundation will be haunting the historic, semi-abandoned Hollywood Theater for an evening of scary stories and literary kinship.
Featured readers include such local luminaries as William Alexander, who has been published in fab sci-fi rags such as Weird Tales and Strange Horizons, and debuted his first novel Goblin Secrets this year; Jennie Goloboy, an Associate Literary Agent at Red Sofa Literary; and David Steffen—published in such magazines as Bull Spec, Fantasy Magazine, and Pseudopod."
>if you want to read something, i think they're taking submissions til june 1, which you can submit at their<a href="http://theunsettledfoundation.com/">website/a>

Oooooh. So happy to see the words "speculative fiction" in print more these days.
Oh! This is the thing I started!
Actually I totally used to hang out here in these parts back in 2004-2006ish. Before the new layout. My username was radish, but none of my old passwords seem to be working. So we have the redux.
Anyway, it would be fucking fantastic to have some MRMB peeps in there. People need to see this theatre, it's an amazing venue.

Yeah! This looks really good. Will Alexander
is top notch, too.

I do not have a talent for writing so I'm relying on some of you folks to go to this and entertain me.

I hope it's not gauche to advertise their Indiegogo effort here too.

Balls. I meant to submit to that but missed the deadline.
Me too, sharyn! Let's do it next time. We'll hold each other accountable.

YES PLZ
The deadline is 10 days away. Are you writing from the future?
This is being put on by my socially awkward friends who are better at designing infographics and writing stories than real grassroots money-begging, so I'll probably be bumping this here a few more times.

The official deadline has passed but from what Sarah has led me to believe they'd still take compelling submissions. That said, I think that they have more than enough to fill the evening of the 23rd already.

Deadlines are meant to be smashed.

Bump. These folks are not gonna make their goal but maybe someone will see this bump while drunk tonight and contribute.
