$5
just noticed this...
time to re-live 2004
had no idea SHOTM existed anymore
I don't think I've listened to any of their records since they played here at Big V's w/ Magik Markers way back when, though I might be curious enough to go this
I don't know if I have either but the $5 price tag seemed worth a risk
Hush Arbors didn't do much for me at the Thurston Moore show
I like both Hush Arbors records quite a bit, but I could imagine that they might come across a bit lackluster live. I like boring music, though.

I know that I saw Sunburned Hand of the Man back in the day but I really don't think it was at that MM show. Their website says the only other show they played in MN was with John Fahey in 1999. Could that be right?
They played in town with NNCK when I booked them a gig at Gus Lucky's Gallery that year. No Fahey on the bill, though.
Oh, okay. Their site is a little confusing and only refers to the set of dates as "John Fahey/NNCK tour".
The 400 was handing out free tickets to this at the True Widow / Kurt Vile show. Worth seeing without any nostalgia factor?

Sunburned has always seemed over-hyped to me.
Then again, so has a lot of that New England hippie shit.

This Sunday, I'm still curious...?
