bought an mp3 player from a craigslist today, met him in a parking lot. at first he walked into the lot, and before I had a chance to hail him he walked away.

he came back 5 minutes later and because I was more assertive this time, we made contact. he said, "i thought you'd be in a car."

"naw," I said. "So, everything works fine on this?"

"yeah, it's like mint condition basically. there's some music on it: you can erase it."

"maybe I'll just check it out!"

I gave him money and we said thanks to each other and walked away immediately.
