I just had a little rant on another thread about NSFW. Really? Should you be trolling message boards at work anyway? You can also turn off the images. Basically dont troll a board that may have nasty shit on it when others can see you. I don't think we need a label for it. Work at work, and if others can see your screen at work or home, don't load images yo. I've seen enough bitching about, you man, totally not cool, that wasn't SFW.

NSFW tags got started because some of us were tired of checking a thread about the usual stuff like filesharing spanging seapunks and then someone would be like "here's what I think about them!" and post a picture of a guy getting his brain smashed open while holding his butthole open.

My computer usage at work is not monitored, but I'm in favor NSFW tags for the "unsee" reason.
Spoiler warnings are nice, too - I was reading the Prometheus thread because I was curious what some people whose opinions I respect thought of it so as to help pre-calibrate my expectations. The spoiler in that one had already been dropped by half of the major national critics, so that was neither here nor there.
