I imagine a Shellac show will have a lot of angry, frustrated nerd manboys that make jokes about hatefucking women, but later when everyone else is passed out they'll "suspend disbelief" long enough to rub it between your legs and finish on your back. Then they'll cry and beg you not to tell anyone. But I've only seen Shellac on YouTube so maybe they have a different vibe live.

I've never been much of a Shellac fan, but I enjoy reading interviews with SA these days. Pretty danged insightful when he wants to be.

Steve Albini did a pretty entertaining phone interview on the Best Show on WFMU a few weeks ago if anyone is into that kind of thing. Not too familiar with the man or his music but hearing that interview made me want t go to this show.

Stnnng delivered big time with rad new songs, so so so so good. Always drops a hammer right on the top of my head.
Never heard Bellini before and was really impressed. Really good. Dude loves playing guitar in that band, he was having the time of his life!
Shellac was in top form. Played fantastic, lewd humor, good banter, hot Minnesota/Cocaine-centric version of 'the end of radio', and a real clean stage.
Does Bob always wear bright pants? I've only seen them one other time when they were here for the Varsity show a while back, and I recall bright colored pants then as well. Is that his "thing"?

Great time last night. It seemed like a high-school reunion with all the peeps I was running into. So stoked that I made it to the show and quite relieved that Adam didn't beat me up in the pit like he threatened.

Coaches beaming mug was fully lit and in my view for the entirety of the Shellac performance. His reaction when Shellac called out the audience member for requesting a song they just played was great, a total, "Wake up, dummy!!" sort of reaction.

I tried to get the Rapeman question out of the way during STNNNG's set but alas...some chooch felt the need to request "Trouser Minnow" from Shellac. At least holler out "They Took A Hammering" or "Swept Blood" really.

I thought Shellac were great. Missed the other bands, sorry. Wanted to see STNNNG but had been skydiving all day and then dinner with family and stuff you know. But yea. Shellac =awesome!
